Soap Scum Build UP

Okay, so I don't have pictures right now (they are stuck on the I Pad) 

BUT

Who hasn't washed glass cups in the dishwasher to have that icky build up make their

dishes look... well kinda gross and dirty looking even when clean. 

I have had these certain glass cups for YEARS. 

They were my mom's from when I was a kid and well they have stuck on dishwasher soap scum.

I have noticed they are getting cleaner though, my reason well, I'm not using a dishwasher anymore.

UNTIL

This past weekend I was drinking some lemon water, and I noticed each time that my cup kept getting this nasty looking brown crud in my glass.

I dumped it out the first time, then 2nd time. I poured a fresh glass sat down and within 5 mins.

My wonderful husband ask "Honey what's floating in your cup?"

My reply :"What again, I don't get it, my cup is clean, the water is clean, yet this stuff keeps floating in my drink today"

That's when it hit us.. My cup was MUCH CLEANER!

So we got another cup down filled it half full with lemon water and sure enough we could see the scum being pulled away from the inside of the cup and collected into brown mini globs in the bottom of the glass. AMAZING! 

and some how Gross at the same time.

Gross because all this time I've though, well it's safe to drink from them still, and now I'm think how gross and how full of toxins my water must have been when using these glasses.

Here is my mix:  1 gallon of water, 3-5 drops of Lemon Oil

Let sit overnight. Shake gently and pour into cups.

Watch the scum just pull away and your glasses get cleaner. 

You can also always soak your dishes in lemon water all night if you want.  

 Try even adding about  3 drops to your soap when you use your dishwasher.

 (I do this with my washing machine all the time)

In March of 2010 I was in a car accident. Later I learned I had damaged my shoulder and could not even lift my young (maybe 18 lb) daughter, drive and other things that is everyday normal things. My husband rubbed in on my shoulder and between the shoulder blades.  Without even realizing it I was soon lifting again, moving stuff and one day picked up my  35 lb son and tossed him over my shoulder.. WOW!!!    This has penetrated deeply into the tissue and is repairing the damage. I soak in it also. 

When I first started I used the oil, now I only use it when I've really over did it (which isn't often), but just use the rub as if it acts up its just a tightness as any soreness would feel. It feels great and I love knowing I am helping heal my body.

Lavender for Bed-wetting Update:

This is just a quick post to let everyone know how the journey with treating my son with Lavender.
For about 2 years every night he has wet the bed. This is something he hadn't done before since he was potty trained.  When I took him to see someone who knew even more than eye and works with oils and Iridology. She had picked up on fear in him and we have been treating him with Lavender twice a day with 3 drops. I notice a difference in his mood swings and sleeping better very quickly.  In a few weeks, he was asking for his oils and wanting them!  I did miss a few times over the past weeks, and when we did he did fine. He has only wet the bed twice in two months!!!  For us this is HUGE, as again he was soaking the bed each night. Pull ups didn't help as he would soak right through them, limiting his drinks didn't help either.  I am happy to say he hasn't used any oils in over a week, and he hasn't had any accidents!!!!!!    This makes me a very happy mommy, and makes him a very happy son. He is waking up in a good mood again, he is sleeping well again!

    My thoughts:   I wish I had known 2 years ago what I know now.  Next time my child is fearful I will be using Lavender.   I have always loved this oil, but now I even have a greater reason to love it.

 Did I mention for the first time in a long time the room doesn't reek.  Now how did I get that smell out?
    I have a water vac that shampoo's I added the oil PURIFY to my water (about 5 drops) and shampooed his mattress. I did this once a week or so until the water was clear  and I couldn't smell it.. It only took a few shampoos, and I'm so glad!  I recommend using this blend for any odor you want out of something.
